94 High Street is a two bedroomed, terraced holiday cottage, 12 minutes from the end of the M4 in the authentic Welsh village of Tumble. Sleeping up to 4 people, plus 1 infant, it is reasonably priced for families, couples and dog friendly holidays.
The house is well equipped with all you need to make it a home from home. Comfortable king sized bed in the main bedroom and sturdy bunkbeds in the smaller room. On the ground floor is the sitting / dining room, fully equipped kitchen and luxurious bathroom with bath and shower over. We have tried to think of everything that guests could need for a comfortable stay from hairdryer and fluffy towels, travel cot and highchair to dog towels and bowls.
The enclosed garden provides a safe place for both dogs and children to play and boasts a terrace with benched seating area. A barbeque is provided for the use of guests. At the end of the garden is a secure outbuilding for storage of bikes, kayaks, body boards and any other outdoor equipment you can think to bring! The garden opens onto a recreation area which in turn leads onto Route 47 Swiss Valley cycle path which is an almost entirely traffic free path running from Cross Hands, through the village of Tumble and on to the Millennium Coastal Park at Llanelli, 10.8 miles in total! There is off road parking for one car at the rear of the property.
The Area: There is so much to see and do in the county of Carmarthenshire from miles of quiet sandy beaches, hills, forests and waterfalls to explore. Castles, gardens, quaint shopping towns and superb regional food there is something here for everyone!
The village of Tumble developed in the 19th century to house the anthracite miners who were employed at the nearby Dynant Fach and Great Mountain collieries. It is a really friendly place and has shops and takeaway restaurants within 5 minutes’ walk of the front door. Tumble is 1.5 miles from Cross Hands, 14 miles from Carmarthen, and 9 miles from Llanelli so well placed to explore the lovely county of Carmarthenshire and neighbouring Pembrokeshire and Gower Peninsula. Number 94 is ideal for holiday makers, people visiting friends and family or working in the area.
A warm welsh welcome awaits
